I am the Operations Director at Gardens. I am responsible for overseeing and managing various operational aspects of the studio. Working as part of the studio leadership team and closely with the founders, I ensure the smooth running of day-to-day activities while making sure the studio infrastructure is aligned with the long term strategic goals and growth plans of the studio.

Before my shift into Operations, I spent over 20 years as a 3D Environment Artist in games.  As a Visual Director, I built and led a diverse art team from the ground up at a new studio.  As a senior production artist, I worked on award winning games such as Half-Life: Alyx and Firewatch.  As an art lead, I have overseen cross-disciplinary teams from preproduction til ship across PC/consoles/mobile platforms.

Besides my career background in art, I have extensive experience in the bizdev and leadership side of game development.  I worked on platform policy topics on Steam at Valve, and remain engaged in the dynamic business community within indie and startup studio circles.   After taking a break from public speaking, I recently I spoke at the Spillkonventet conference in Oslo, Norway on “Design your Organization, Not Just Your Game“, and hosted a workshop for their UP3 career development program for women developers.
