Half Life: Alyx

I joined the Half Life: Alyx team in the last months of production to help put the finishing touches on Valve’s flagship VR title. Every one one the Alyx team wear multiple hats. I spent the bulk of my time adding custom hand poses to each interactable object in the game (and there are hundreds) so every time the player pick up an object, it will feel perfect. Other work included creating new props, optimizing legacy props to be more performant, adjusting collision volumes on each prop to feel just right (since you can collide with them with your VR hands) etc.
